2 г пропускная способность? на деле как себя ведет? с нашим провайдером замучался менять мать

Как есть так и ведет. Разъем PCI-X, не думаю, что у вас такой есть. Но всякое бывает. Если у вас оптика идет до дома,то можете её поставить. Используется как устройство для обмена данными между серверами и СХД.
