RB Jacket is the signature jacket of Swedish freeride professional Reine Barkered, who was Freeride World Champion in 2012 and 2nd in the Freeride World Tour 2013. The jacket is developed together with Reine and designed to meet all the situations a freerider faces during a long day on the mountain; scouting, hiking, waiting, and riding – in all terrains, snow and weather conditions. The concept of the jacket is to combine a light, stretchable shell with an easily removable and packable liner. This creates freedom to use the pieces together or separately. The outer jacket is made of the revolutionary Polartec® Neoshell® material, considered to be the most breathable fabric on the market, still delivering full water protection. 8848 Altitude is the first Scandinavian brand to use Polartec® Neoshell® in a ski jacket. The inner jacket is insulated with Primaloft® Eco, which is warming, superlight, breathable and very packable. RB jacket is fully-loaded with all the features you can expect from a high-end piece, such as snowskirt, Recco® reflector and helmet compatible hood. The RB Jacket has been honoured with the Malden Trophy in the 2013 Polartec® APEX Awards for unique style, function, workmanship, and fit, as well as the most innovative and appropriate uses of Polartec® fabrics in design.
